Thank you for your interest in serving the CFBISD students and staff. We are happy to welcome visitors and volunteers on our campuses to build relationships and impact our schools. We look forward to making the connection.
For the safety of all students and staff, volunteers are required to complete a background check each school year and watch the Volunteer Orientation (below).
Background checks for the 2022-2023 school year begin August 1, 2022.
Volunteers complete these simple steps:
- Watch the CFBISD Volunteer Orientation (above)
- Conduct a required background check with CFBISD
- Watch the Standard Response Protocols video to review emergency procedures that are used in CFBISD
- Optional: Complete the form below only if you need assistance to be connected to a campus or program. If you know where you want to volunteer, please contact the campus or department directly. View Directory.
The standard response protocol training video provides volunteers and mentors guidelines and processes to respond to an emergency, should an incident occur on campus while present. Please note that this is an informational training only, and volunteers should follow the instructions of campus administrators and emergency responders in the event of a critical incident. This information is for the benefit and responsibility of our volunteers to ensure understanding of the information provided. For questions and clarification, please reach out to the CFBISD Emergency Management Coordinator, Amber Gardner, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 972-968-6421
