Kara Miller is honored to serve the students, staff and community as the Principal of Polk Middle School. Mrs. Miller has spent eleven years in the CFB community as a former English teacher at DeWitt Perry Middle School and Assistant Principal at Vivian Field Middle School. As a first-generation college graduate, she is passionate about providing an equitable learning environment to meet the needs of all scholars. Her goal is to create an environment which empowers students to be lifelong learners while also instilling core values and a sense of community and belonging. Mrs. Miller graduated with her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and Masters in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Texas A&M Commerce. Mrs. Miller wants all Polk Panthers to know they can achieve anything they set their mind to, and she will serve and support them every step of the way!

Mrs. Miller encourages all parents, community members, staff and students to come together to ensure Polk Panthers continue to persevere!
