Meet the Assistant Principals
James Henneke
Hello Polk Nation! I am excited about working with the great students, staff, and community at Ted Polk Middle School. I have been working in CFB since 2006 serving as a Science teacher, coach, and Assistant Principal. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Cornell College, teaching certification through Texas Tech, and my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. I am looking forward to working at Polk to help all students be college ready, career ready, and future leaders.
Demarcus Howard
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Demarcus Howard served in the United States Army for eight years. After his military service, he discovered a passion for education. Mr. Howard began his career as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher before advancing to the role of Instructional Dean.
Mr. Howard holds a bachelor's degree in Middle-Level Education with a concentration in Math and Science from Georgia State University and a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Boston College. Currently, Mr. Howard is pursuing a Doctorate in Education in Education Systems Improvement at the University of South Carolina.
Mr. Howard is dedicated to creating a culturally competent and socially just environment and is excited for the upcoming school year.
