Hello Polk Nation! I am excited about working with the great students, staff, and community at Ted Polk Middle School.  I have been working in CFB since 2006 serving as a Science teacher, coach, and Assistant Principal. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Cornell College, teaching certification through Texas Tech, and my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.  I am looking forward to working at Polk to help all students be college ready, career ready, and future leaders.

Hello Polk Panthers! My name is Jennifer Atchison, and I’m excited to join you as Assistant Principal. I’ve proudly served in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD since 2009, beginning my journey as a classroom teacher before transitioning into an Instructional Dean role at Field Middle School and then most recently, an assistant principal at Blair Elementary. I am passionate about building strong relationships, supporting teacher growth, and fostering student success. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling to new places. I’m thrilled to be part of the Polk community and look forward to partnering with you to make this a great year!

My name is Toshia Blue, and I am excited to serve as an Assistant Principal here at Polk MS. As a CFB alumni with a pathway from Good, Perry, and Turner; I am completely invested in our district’s mission and vision to promote a family growing our youth. I have a daughter who is a senior at Newman Smith High School and a son that is a sophomore in college.

With over 20 years in education in both public and private schools, athletic coaching, teaching, instructional coaching and administration has taught me so much about how to help promote teaching the whole child and coaching everyone to reach their full potential.  I understand the important role parents and families play in the lives of our students, and I am eager for the opportunities to work together. I am focused on building our community and being involved.

I have earned a Masters Degree in Education for Teacher Leadership from Walden University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from University of Texas at Dallas. I utilize my skills and experience to promote a safe and healthy school environment for students, teachers, and staff, to ensure our students receive the best education.
