Greetings Polk Nation Family!
It is with great enthusiasm that I serve the students, staff, and community at Ted Polk Middle School. My tenure brings a wealth of diversity in my educational experience. I have a Bachelors from Prairie View A &M University and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix with further studies from Lamar University. As an educator, I desire to share my passion for excellence in education while meeting the diverse needs of all students with my fellow colleagues and community.
Throughout my career, I have served as a Language Arts/English teacher while simultaneously teaching AVID, and Bible Literature. After transitioning from the classroom, I served as an Early College Coordinator and Workplace Learning Coordinator. I am excited to bring that wealth of diversity to Polk Middle school.

I have been working in CFB since 2006 serving as a Science teacher, coach, and Assistant Principal. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Cornell College, teaching certification through Texas Tech, and my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. I am looking forward to working at Polk to help all students be college ready, career ready, and future leaders.
